I grew up down the road from my grandpas dairy farm. I remember watching the cows walk around and eat grass with my brothers. We'd have an absolute riot because we thought cows were hilarious.
Sometimes my grandpa would be doing chores and ask us to watch a gate while he moved some equipment. We had to make sure no cows got out, even though we were like 8 years old. That's when I first found out how massive cows actually are up close and they scared the shit out of me. They'd slowly walk up toward you with a blank stare on their face and you just had to stand your ground hoping they wouldn't come any closer.
I always tried to see if the spots on the side of cows made any images, so I thought it'd be fun to draw a 'Canadian Dairy Cow' with the map of Canada on its side. Plus I just like the way cows have this stupid look on their face all the time 😂 -
