I believe nature art is simple: it should bring the best feelings of the outside world into our everyday lives.

The Way I See

Painting completely changed how I see things. I can no longer go on a walk without getting distracted by how light moves through leaves, or how the sun sets a muted tree on fire with bright oranges and reds. I try my best to bring these moments into my paintings to share that beauty.

My Pursuit

I grew up in Woodslee, Ontario. The landscape is right there in the name. Plenty of woods and wide-open fields. I realized this was my path the moment I completely lost track of time trying to figure out how to mix the perfect colour. That cycle of starting with a blank canvas and finishing with a scene I had imagined for months is a process I knew I’d never stop.

When you buy a painting, 4% is donated to Canadian land conservation. It’s my way of ensuring the places that inspire this work remain the main focus.

Take a look at a few scenes I couldn’t get out of my head until I painted them.
